Message from Mr. Adams and Mrs. Marshall

Spring has arrived at Norman Park Elementary along with the CRCT testing time. Students and teachers have worked diligently, and we are ready to shine as a result of our hard work! As we begin testing next week, please  reassure your children that testing is not a stressful time. Their test results will show the efforts of their hard work and academic success.

Book of the Month

Diary of a Spider

Written by: Doreen Cronin
Illustrated by: Harry Bliss

SUMMARY:

This book is a diary of a spider, but don’t be worried.

He’s more scared of you than a gigantic shoe! Actually, he’s a lot like you. He goes to gym class and has Grandparents’ Day at school. But he also spins sticky webs, scales walls and takes wind-catching lessons. Lucky for him, his best friend is a Fly!

Doreen Cronin and Harry Bliss are the team behind this sequel to the Diary of a Worm. In the books they spin a hilarious tale about the upside-down web world of and eight-legged charmer and his unlikely friend, Fly.
